X-GMT Preparation Tips 2023

Check a few XGMAT 2023 preparation tips below:

Make a plan for your study time: The initial stage in the preparation process is to create a detailed study plan based on your strengths and weaknesses. It is best to start your preparations a little early if you have a lot of abilities to acquire. Candidates should give the necessary amount of time for each area, especially those that call for more effort. If you are having trouble understanding a subject or are stuck on an issue, try not to lose hope. Take assistance from classmates or teachers who can help you get around obstacles, if you can.

Focus on Speed and Accuracy: Success in X-GMT depends on striking the perfect balance between speed and accuracy. If you have about six months until the exam, accuracy above speed should be your top priority. Your pace will naturally increase as you continue with your study plan and begin practising mock exams. Because X-GMT allows for negative marking, candidates must make sure they train sufficiently to improve their accuracy and speed.

Practice Exams: One of your top priorities should be to take at least one full-length practise exam since the start of your study programme. It will help you gauge the test’s duration and recognise when mental fatigue begins to set in. A crucial component of practising mock exams is adhering to the test timing. It will give you a better idea of what it’s like to take the two-hour X-GMT exam while sitting still.

Revise: Proper revision is the most important aspect of a successful preparation plan. Candidates can make a list of all the important topics and concepts to brush up on their memory. It is advisable that the best of the last month should be spent on working on strengths. You can also use notes made during practice sessions for revision.
