Kerala SET Application Form 2023
On October 1, 2022, the online application for the Kerala SET 2023 for the January 2023 session was made available on the official website. Candidates who meet the qualifying requirements can apply to appear in the exam and register. On October 31, 2022, at 5 PM, the online registration process came to a close. Candidates must upload a photo of themselves that is 150 pixels wide by 200 pixels high in the application form. The image must be in JPG format and not be larger than 30 KB. The registration cost for the exam will be decided by the conducting authorities. The cost of registration can be paid via online mode only. Candidates have the option to pay using Net Banking, Debit Card, and Credit Card.
Kerala SET Eligibility Criteria 2023
Those candidates are going to fill the Application Form of Kerala SET; they should have to check their Eligibility Criteria. The Eligibility Criteria details are mentioned below.
- To be eligible to apply for this exam, applicants must hold a B.Ed. degree in any discipline from any university in Kerala or from any other institution deemed to be comparable, as well as a Master’s degree with at least 50% of the required marks or an equivalent grade.
- Candidates must hold a B.Ed degree in any field from a university in Kerala that is accredited, or they may apply if they hold these credentials from another accredited university.
- These candidates can participate in the SET in English if they hold a Master’s degree in Communicative English II class with at least 50% of the required marks and a B.Ed.
- Those who have earned a Master’s degree with the minimal score needed to sit for the SET and are enrolled in B.Ed degree final year courses are eligible to take the test.

Kerala SET 2023: Marks Relaxation for SC/ST
Candidates who are from SC or ST groups are given a 5% mark reduction on the minimum score needed to be qualified to take the Kerala SET.
Kerala SET Age Limit
There is no prescribed age limit for aspirants who want to appear for the state eligibility test.
Kerala SET 2023 Exam Pattern
There will be two papers in KSET 2023. Paper-I consists of Aptitude in Teaching and General Knowledge while paper-II is prepared from the subject of the candidate in his/her post-graduate level.
Paper-I:
- There will be a total of 120 questions in Paper-I.
- It will be divided into two parts as A and B.
- Each section comprises 60 questions.
- For every correct answer, the candidate gets one mark.
Paper-II:
- It also has 120 questions and every correct answer will be given one mark, except for Statistics and Mathematics
- Around 80 questions will be asked in Mathematics and Statistics where each correct answer will be rewarded a 1.5 mark.

Qualifying marks:
- A general category candidate requires 40 marks for both papers separately to qualify for the Kerala SET 2023.
