MICAT 2023: The Mudra Institute of Communications in Ahmedabad will soon announce the results of the MICAT phase I test. On December 21, MICA had originally planned to issue the scorecard. Candidates can get the MICAT 2023 results online for the test that will be administered on December 3. Candidates interested in taking the MICAT 2023 exam in its second part may register online at mica.ac.in. The deadline to apply for the MICAT 2 exam, which will be held on January 28, is scheduled for January 16. On the official website, candidates can view the event schedule and submit an online application (mica.ac.in).

For PGP admission, candidates may take the MICAT exam in two phases. Candidates will be chosen based on the better of two scores. On December 3, candidates will be permitted to show up for the exam. The candidate’s cumulative performance in the national level entrance tests, MICAT and GE-PI, is used to determine the MICAT 2023 final results. MICAT 2023 – Eligibility

Before completing the registration form, candidates must make sure they meet the qualifying requirements. The following are the requirements for MICAT 2023 eligibility:

  • The Association of Indian Universities recognises any discipline with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (AIU).
  • Candidates must have passed one of the management (national level) exams, such as the GMAT, XAT, or CAT, with good standing.
  • Foreign nationals and NRIs who have a valid GMAT score
  • Candidates who appeared last year are also eligible.

MICAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam will be administered online over the course of two sessions, with the question bank being composed of three main sections. The MICAT 2023 Exam Pattern is provided here for your convenience so that you can quickly grasp the format.

Exam Mode: The mode of MICAT exam will be online mode. No. of Questions: A total of 144 questions will be asked in the examination. Time: The applicants will get 2 hours 45 minutes to solve the question paper. No. of Sections: The question paper will be divided into three sections. Marking scheme: For every right answer, 1 mark will be awarded. Negative marking: For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will get deducted

MICAT 2023 Application Form

The MICAT I application form will be made available in October 2022, while the MICAT II application form will be made available in November. The only available route for candidates is online. Students must therefore visit the official website in order to access the application form. Before submitting the form, candidates must carefully fill it out, and they should print out their completed application for their records.

When registering for MICAT 2023, students must provide various facts, including personal and educational information, along with a valid email address and contact information. Additionally, they must upload a scanned image of themselves and sign the form according to the format specified. There is no need to resubmit the hard copy of the form to the office after the online submission is complete.

Steps to Fill the MICAT 2023 Application Form 

Candidates can find the link to apply in the page below. The process has been broken down into registration, entering personal details, payment of fee and finally the submission after cross verification of the entered information. Find the detailed procedure in the points below.

Step 1: Registration

Candidates will have to visted the official website and select the “Apply Online” button from the menu bar. The registration mus be done by submitting a registered number and email ID. Following this, the verification code will be sent. Enter the same onto the space and submit. You are successfully registered for MICAT 2023 now. 

Step 2: Filling of Details 

Candidates will now have to complete the form by adding all the details which inlcude personal details, educational qualifications and more. Candidates will have to produce the relevant information along with documentational proof. 

Candidates who have registered but do not finish the application form will NOT be considered for the exam. 

Step 3: Application via CAT/XAT/MAT 

Candidates must enter their entrance exam details such as Roll number, score card details and more to be applying via the said exams. 

Step 4: Uploading of Documents

Candidates will now have to upload the required documents and original certificates for verification. This includes 10/12 markscard, ID proof, minority certificates and more in the specified format only. 

Photograph and Signature

A candidate has to upload his/her recent passport photograph and signature while filling the MICAT 2023 Application Form. The specifications for file size are given below.

Step 5: Fee Payment

Candidates will now be directed to the MICAT application fee payment page. Each candidate will have to complete the payment to be considered valid for the exam. The fee is INR 1985 for all candidates. There will be no late fee or any extension in the fee payment hence it is vital to complete the fee payment as soon as possible. After the payment, candidates can submit the form and download the receipt. 

Examination Fee for MICAT 2023

A candidate is required to pay INR 1985. For all categories, the price stays the same.

Payment Method: You can make your payment online. Candidates have the option of paying with a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Demand Draft payments are another option for candidates (DD). This should be sent via BLUE DART courier with a check made out to MICA and payable in Ahmedabad. Send the printed version of the DD to the address shown below.

Documents Required for MICAT 2023 Application Form

Certain certificates and documents are needed as a candidates fills the form for MICAT 2023. This will ensure that invalid data is not entered onto the form which might result in disqualification of the entire application. The list of documents needed are given below.

Candidates can submit their forms and take a copy of the same for future references. It must be noted that no edits can be made after the submission is made. There is no refund if the candidate decides to withdraw the application as well.

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards for MICAT-I starting in December 2022 and MICAT-II starting in January 2023.

Here is the procedure to download the hall ticket for MICAT 2023. First, you should visit the official website of MICAT. In the next step, you have to Log-in using your registered id and password which were auto-generated during the registration process. Click on the admit card/ hall ticket link. Enter your application number/ roll number and Date of Birth. Hall Ticket for MICAT 2023 will be displayed on the desktop. Now download the Hall Ticket and take its printouts for further use.

Answer Key:

Candidates can get the answer key for MICAT through various official and unofficial sites. The official answer key is released by MICA, Ahmedabad on their official website. The answer key is always in PDF format. Candidates need to download it to compare their answers and to count their expected scores. The answer key enables the candidate to know about their performance in the examination

MICAT 2023 Exam Result

The results of the MICAT 2023 exam will be released online. The official website will publish the MICAT 2023 Results. Students can input their Login Credentials to download the MICAT 2023 Results.

The website will be updated with the MICAT 2023 Result for MICAT in the final week of December 2022 and the MICAT 2023 Result for MICAT II in the second week of February 2023.

The MICAT 2023 Result will include information about the students, including their name, roll number, overall score, rank, scores in each topic, result status (Fail or Pass), percentage, and other statistics.

Cut off:

Admission for MICAT 2023 will be in March of that year. The ultimate merit list will be determined by GE and PI rounds. Candidates will be evaluated according on how they did in these two rounds. For the GE round, a score of 3.5 or higher out of 5 is required, and for the PI round, a score of 4 out of 5 is preferred to be chosen for the merit list. For some candidates, the board member’s suggestion in the PI round is also advantageous. The candidate’s combined GMAT, MICAT, PI, and GE scores determine their ultimate selection. For a candidate to be selected in MICAT, they must receive a 20% GMAT score, a 30% MICAT score, a 30% PI score, and a 20% GE score.

MICAT 2023 GE and PI rounds

Every aspirant who is shortlisted according to their performance in any one of these exams CAT, GMAT, XAT, and also MICAT needs to appear for both of the levels conducted by the authorities namely Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).

As briefly mentioned above, only applicants who appear in one of the exams—CAT, XAT, or GMAT—will be eligible for admission to MICAT 2023. Only after passing any of the aforementioned tests are they required to take the MICAT. Every applicant who passes the entrance exam is required to participate in the mandatory GE and PI rounds, and applicants will be evaluated based on their performance in these two rounds.

MICAT 2023 Admission Procedure:

The MICAT 2023 Admission Procedure is going to be conducted within the month of March after the GI and PI rounds. The Authority will prepare the Merit List on the basis of the PI and GE performance of the candidate.

In the PI round the student has got to secure a minimum of 4 scores on the scale of 5 and in the GE round, the student has got to score a minimum of 3.5 scores on the scale of 5. The MICAT 2023 Admission Procedure also will depend upon the majority recommendation by all the panel members of the PI Rounds.

On the basis of the three rounds, the final composite score is going to be calculated at the last by the Authority. The authority will use GMAT/CAT/XAT must be 20%, PI = 30%, MICAT = 30% and GE = 20% for the MICAT 2023 Admission Procedure.-

Once the students are going to be selected, the students need to verify all the important documents and pay the fee at the college/ Institution to complete the admission procedure.
