BLAT 2023 – For all students interested in becoming attorneys, Banaras Hindu University administers the university-level BLAT 2023 or BHU’s Law Admission Test.

This year’s class will be the eighth to take this subject, which was first offered at BHU in 2014 under the designation B.A. LLB (Honors).

BHU is a 1360-acre campus of Central University. The language of instruction for this course will only be English.

Eligibility Criteria:

Before submitting an application for an undergraduate or postgraduate course, students are advised to carefully review their eligibility requirements. Additionally, they must have received at least a 50% on their qualifying exam.

BHU 2023 Application Form

The aspirant must first visit the official website and register there. You receive the application number/user ID and password after registering, which you must use to log in and complete the remaining steps. All information on your documents needs to be accurate and complete. Candidates must complete personal, communication, academic, and other information forms. The candidates must then upload their supporting documentation and pay the online application fees.

Admission Process for BLAT 2023

Candidates must first fill out the online application form by going to the BHU official website. Following that, the individual receives their admit card and must show up for the BLAT entrance exam. Following the announcement of the cutoff and the candidate’s results on the official website, the candidates are then admitted based on the results of their entrance exam.

BHU 2023 Exam Pattern

Following are the complete exam pattern for the BHU 2023 entrance exam:


  • Mode of Exam: The exam will conduct through online mode.
  • Type of Questions: The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Medium: The exam will be offered in 13 languages as Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
  • Marking scheme: +5 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and -1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

BHU 2023 Preparation Tips

Following are some tips & tricks for the BHU 2023 examination: 

  • Go through the whole syllabus and the exam pattern of the BHU 2023 exam. 
  • Create your study format and stick to it religiously. 
  • Stay focused on your studies by avoiding distractions. 
  • Do regular practice exams. 
  • Work through the previous year’s questions and sample papers. 
  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid engaging in any harmful activities. 

BHU 2023 Result

The final answer key will be used to determine the BHU 2023 result. By inputting their roll number, candidates can check their results. The outcome won’t be reevaluated or double-checked. For UG courses, the results will be released during the second week of July 2023, and for PG courses, they will be released starting in August 2023.

Every applicant who participated will receive their results online. The applicants will not receive score cards; instead, they must download them from the website. Until the admissions process is over, the candidate must keep the results secure.

BHU 2023 Counselling

The counselling will be done online by the institution. The results of the admission exam will be used to determine the counselling. There will be BHU Counseling 2023 for the selected applicants. All shortlisted candidates will be required to take part in the counselling process.

Selection and admission are contingent upon meeting the university’s stipulated requirements for admission, including eligibility, rank on the merit list, medical fitness, original document verification, and other requirements.

When reporting to the designated college, the candidates must present the letter of allocation. The candidates’ seats will be assigned based on their ranking and the number of open spots at the respective universities.
