AUAT Exam Eligibility criteria
Nationality:
(a) The candidate applying for the Aliah University Admission Test must be an Indian.
(b) The individual belonging to a state also significantly matter for taking admission to Aliah University. According to the official documents, candidates applying under General Quota must be a resident of West Bengal for at least 10 years.
(c) Students belonging to states other than West Bengal must apply under OS (Other State) quota.

Examination Type: The Aliah University Admission Test is a multiple choice questions-based examination.
(I) Total Number of Questions: The AUAT Exam paper consists of only 100 MCQ questions.
(II) Question Type: The Aliah University Admission exam for various undergraduate, post-graduate and Bachelor of Education program offer multiple-choice or objective-based paper.
(III) Number of Sections: As per the official document of the entrance exam, the examination paper comprises total of two parts: (A) and (B)
(IV) Mode of Exam: The Mode of the AUAT entrance test is conducted offline. In laymen’s words, it is held in a pen-and-paper format.
(V) Duration: The institute conducts an entrance test for 90 minutes for UG/MM courses, whereas, for PG courses, the examination is held for 120 minutes.

What is the AUAT Exam Marking Scheme?
This entrance exam is taken for a total of 100 marks in order to reduce the number of applicants for undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. It is divided into three sections, each of which contains a different number of questions. Part A of the UG/MM courses will have 10 MCQs (2 marks each), while Part B will have 40 MCQs (2 marks each). While for PG courses, Part A will have 25 multiple-choice questions worth one mark each and Part B will have 75 questions (1 mark each).
(a) Marking Scheme for Correct Answer: In UG/MM courses, each correct MCQ answer, either from section A or Section B, will offer 2 marks. Whereas, in PG courses, each correct answer, either from Part A & Part B, will give one mark.
(b) Negative Marking: There will be no deduction of marks for incorrect answers.
(c) Un-attempted Questions: According to the official advertisement, no marks will be deducted for not attempting questions.

Those applicants have successfully submitted their application form through online or offline mode, they can download the admit card through online mode by visiting the official website of Aliah University.

AUAT 2023 Answer Key
The answer key is the set of correct answers to the AUAT 2023 question paper. When, where, how to get it is as follows.

How to Download AUAT Result?
Only the official website will let participants access their results. The result of the Aliah University Admission Test is declared in the form of a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidate in the AUAT exam. In order to download your result, you must complete these steps:
(a) Visit the AUAT’s official page.

(c) You need to enter your email address, password, and the required Captcha in order to log in to the result page.
(d) After entering all the required data and pressing the submit button, a screen showing your scores will pop up.
(e) From there, you can download your result.
The AUAT Merit List: What Is It?
The entrance test results are used to create the merit list for AUAT 2023. For the Physically Challenged (PC) candidates, a different list of successful candidates is created. Each chosen candidate receives an AUAT 2023 rank card, which includes all pertinent information about counselling. For B. Tech candidates, the AUAT 2023 merit list will be uniform, however it will vary for candidates in all other disciplines.
According to the merit list, candidates are contacted for the counselling rounds. The university has the right to fill any open reserved seats following the final counselling session using applicants from the General category, but only after considering the merit list.
AUAT 2023 Counselling
All qualified candidates, whose names appear in the merit list will be able to register for e-counseling at the official University website. Steps to register for AUAT 2023 Counselling are:

- Click on ‘Click here to register for e-counseling (name of course)’
- Enter Application ID and Date of Birth

- The candidate will then have to pay an e-counseling registration fee of INR 500, which will be adjusted in the admission fee
